Departing from Jeddah’s Al Ahlam Marina, after a 120-mile overnight sail south you will reach two extensive stretches of sandy land labeled Qadd Qumais on the nautical chart, located 22 miles west of Marsa Qishran and 40 miles north of Mar Mar, the northernmost island of the Farasan Banks. It is here that you will find untouched coral reefs colonized by soft corals and gorgonians, as well as every species of pelagic fish and gray sharks along the southern plateau of the Gezira el Ahlam dive. After diving at Qumais Islands the cruise will continue with dives in the northern area of the Farasan Banks which includes Malathu, Long reef and Gorgonia reef.
